New Millennium Pledge
I pledge allegiance
To the dream
Of a united state called America
And to a republic
Which would stand for
Liberty and justice for all.
I pledge allegiance
To the land
In a united fate called America
And to a democracy
Whose sands are wet
With the blood of patriots
of every race, creed and sex
I pledge allegiance
To the cause
In a united love called America
In whose defense
Freedom passes the torch
To succeeding generations
I pledge allegiance to the people
In a melting pot called America
And to the notion on which it stands
One nation, unicultural,
Multi-passioned,
Promising the opportunity,
Of prosperity,
For all.
