Laughing Women

Two mutually escorting women in cafe laughing
Longing lips brushing flashing teeth
War clouds rumble on horizon
The WTC burns
As the conversation turns
One holds high a placard
Supported by the other,
No War, Save the Babies, Give Peace A Chance,
A feeling well taken
Let's think it through
Under Shar'iah,
If not for war,
Two women on a soccer field,
Beheaded.
